MEET OUR MOUNT PLEASANT FAMILY PHYSICIANS
Our team focuses on providing family-centered healthcare for adults and children. Our board certified family physicians have had extensive specialty training in family and internal medicine as well as geriatrics. Our goal is to ensure the optimal patient experience for all of our patients.
Seeing patients at Park West Location
Dr. Lee Allison is family physician treating patients in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and the surrounding communities. She operates out of East Cooper Coastal Family Physicians and holds certification from the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Allison is also a member of professional organizations including the American Academy of Family Physicians and actively participates in the Junior League of Charleston.
Originally from Summerville, South Carolina, Dr. Allison attended Clemson University for her undergraduate degree. She pursued her medical education at the Medical University of South Carolina. Dr. Allison continued her medical education through the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program.
Patients visiting Dr. Allison can receive a full range of medical Services. Her areas of professional interest include adolescent health, preventive medicine, and women's health. When she is not treating patients, Dr. Allison enjoys reading, exercise, boating, and spending time with her husband and three sons. She is also an avid Clemson fan.

Dr. Rex Morgan is an internist and geriatrician treating patients in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, and the surrounding communities. He holds certification from the American Board of Internal Medicine in geriatric medicine and in hospice and palliative care. Dr. Morgan is also a member of the American College of Physicians.
For his undergraduate degree, Dr. Morgan attended Livingston University. He pursued his medical degree at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Morgan continued his medical education at the Medical University of South Carolina, where he received his residency training in internal medicine. He has also completed a fellowship program in geriatric medicine at Rush Hospital in Chicago.
Patients visiting Dr. Morgan can receive a full range of medical Services. His areas of professional interest include bone health, memory loss, and general health promotion for people over 50 years of age. When he is not treating patients, Dr. Morgan enjoys grilling, visiting the beach, and spending time with his wife and two young children.

Dr. Stroud is a board certified family physician treating patients in Mount Pleasant, SC including Park West and the surrounding communities. Dr. Stroud joined East Cooper Family Physicians in the fall of 2015 and holds a certification with the American Board of Family Medicine. Dr. Stroud is also a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Society for Sports Medicine and the Charleston County Medical Society.
Dr. Stroud grew up in Lyman, South Carolina and received his bachelor and masters degree in science from Clemson University. He then pursued his medical degree at the Medical University of South Carolina. After completing medical school, Dr. Stroud completed a Family Medicine Residency at the Trident/MUSC Family Medicine Residency Program.
Patients visiting Dr. Stroud can receive a full range of medical Services, and his special interests include primary care sports medicine, preventative healthcare and treatment of hypertension and diabetes. Dr. Stroud resides in Mount Pleasant with his wife, Elizabeth, who practices allergy and immunology in both Summerville and Charleston. They have three daughters, and Cooper, their Labrador retriever. He is active in his local church and is an avid Clemson fan. In his free time he enjoys boating, golf and tennis.
